We've been looking at aftermarket griddles with little success. So we bought the Weber and it was well worth the price. It's very high quality, it fits the space perfectly, and cooks evenly. The first time we used it we made smash burgers and they came out great. Prior to that we used an electric griddle, which made a mess. We now keep it in place all the time and use is for anything that can be griddled while using the grate side for grilling simultaneously.

We have enjoyed having this addition to our home. We have used it already a few times after Christmas to make a few meals. It is smaller than I anticipated but good for cooking veggies.
Bought one last year, used a couple of times. It takes up half the grill space, but has thick sides/edges, so the available cooking area is small, meaning timing & patience is needed. Be warned, it is heavy - so heavy that rolling the grill across an uneven patio resulted in a bent wheel bracket - credit to Weber for prompt warranty replacement, but I'm stuck with an accessory that is not fit for purpose that is cluttering up my basement, I can't even sell it for cheap as it will cost a fortune to ship.

Grease Drain Hole could be more in the center. Otherwise, I like it.
What a disappointment. the grilling area is lower so you lose a lot of grilling space.( On the grill side I can put 6 burgers on the griddle side I can only put 4) Because the surface of the griddle is about 1/2 inch lower it makes harder to turn or flip what your cooking. and makes the clean up a lot harder. The drain space takes up a lot of room wasting space. The material the griddle is made of requires you use special cooking tools and makes clean up harder. So you need one set for the grill and one set for the griddle. Its not worth the effort and extra work. Only good thing is it cooks food ok. and no flare ups..

Too expensive. Over 25% of what I paid for the whole grill. No thanks.

This will put a perfect sear on anything, steaks, roasts, chops. So glad I got it.
Great product, fit perfectly. I was concerned since the grill is older but fit on one half of the grill without a problem.

Works great just wish the grease from the griddle didn't drain down the back inside of the grill. Kinda makes a mess inside of your grill. Would have been nice if the griddle somehow had it own drip tray .

Questions & Answers
Hi Phil. The Weber griddle drains into the drip pan at the bottom of the Spirit grill which will collect in the grease collection cup in the bottom center of the grill.
Asked by Phil | Answered by PhilHi kaykay. We have not tried the Weber griddle with any of the Summerset grills. You may want to consider either Little Griddle or Rocky Mountain griddles. https://www.bbqguys.com/d/2142/bbq-accessories/cookware/griddles?ff2=65281&ff2=15354

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
