I bought replacement grills, they fit perfectly, it is great being able to get exact replacement parts
Grill grates rusted badly after 2 years. Cast iron should be lifetime use. That is the main reason I purchased this grill. Cleaned and maintained as if a cast iron pan. Still rusted and flaking

I purchased my BK signet 5 years ago and the iron cast grills are totally rusted out. While trying to clean the rust off the cast iron grill two of the grill bars broke off. Very disappointing how fast these cast iron grills rust making it unsafe to BBQ food on these rusty grills.

They are good cast iron grids but requires attention to using them and care otherwise they rust easy. Do not use wire or metal scrubbers with this grid. Use the wood padel or stiff bristle brush. Apply oil before use and after cooking clean off the grid by letting the scraps burn off and remove with the wood paddle.
I bought the signet grill 2 years ago love it all except the cooking grids they rusted, cracked, and broke into pieces. This grill is well maintained in my opinion this shouldn't have happened so soon.
The bottom of my BBQ is covered in rust flakes from the grill. When most people clean out the bottom, they'll find grease and burnt food. I gotta take to my doctor to make sure I'm up to date on my tetanus shot before I clean the BBQ. I've tried all the seasoning tricks to no avail. I hope Broil King can fix the issue. All in all, love the BBQ, hate the grill. I'm
My bbq is stored inside during the winter, and is always under a cover when not in use during the summer, however within 2 years the grates have completely rusted. I can't even cook on the bbq anymore
My grids just had one of the ends crack off... I was refinishing at the time with a wire brush... These grids have lasted *over seven years*. Those of you who say they rust and crack, I'm sorry, you're not treating your cast iron right. I'm not convinced some of those "crack" picture aren't actually build up of over-seasoning and oils. These grids and grills are exceptional. Seeing all the bad reviews, I had to post something positive. Yes, grids will rust if you leave them outdoors (even in the grill). They will crack if you apply too much heat. Broil King grills are *absolutely* able to get that hot. You need to season ay grate on BOTH sides after use (which even I don't do.) I refinish cast iron pans for a fun hobby when people ruin them, so I have an extremely good idea of what's involved. I know I could treat my grill grids better, but hey, they live outside, and eventually (after 7-10 years) they need replacing. My cast iron pans will probably last over a century. Why? I don't heat them to 400°C, burn off the seasoning every time I use them, then season one half and throw them outside for storage. So yeah.. grill grids gonna wear out, but not quickly.
I believe they are covered by warranty, but I wonder if the only option is replacement with the same grids? Have any improvements been made? The grids are too corroded and rusted to be used to safely cook food on.
So disappointing. All internal parts are super rusted. Inside the bbq, i dont mind as much since it doesnt touch the food but these grills... they are the second pair we purchase and they dont last. Even after storing them indoors for the winter. Now having to either purchase new pieces and grills will cost half a new bbq.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
