Minka-Aire warrants to the original owner that this fan will be free from defects in material and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase, excluding the motor. Minka-Aire warrants to the original owner that the motor in this fan shall be free from defects in This is a limited warranty. Minka-Aire only obligation under this limited warranty is to replace or repair, or refund the purchase price, in Minka-Aire sole discretion without charge to the original owner, of the fan once Minka-Aire confirms that the fan has a defect covered by this limited warranty. Labor not included.

Very pleased with the two Gauguin fans we bought. The look good, seem to be very well made, and work perfectly so far. We installed them on our front porch ceiling and everybody loves them. And the installation instructions were complete and well written.

I purchased this fan about 2 years ago. Initially it worked great. During the second year it would just start running on its own. I have an installed controller on the wall. Now that it is year 2, it only operates on one speed. I called the manufacture, who seemed to know that the problem was one of two items. One appears to be a receiving unit and the other a capacitor Those items are located at the top, where it is attacked to my 11' ceiling. I have a 3 foot pole holding the fan to the ceiling. Since it is over 1 year, the manufacture told me I would be on my one to pay to have it fixed. Of course that means hiring an election to first identify the problem and then having them return after I purchase the part. For how much this fan cost. one would think it should be covered by a multi-year warranty. .

fan has been up for over a year.. in covered area and never gets wet.. very rarely used and when I went to reverse the fan the other day it didnt work..its a wall remote.. It just stopped working.. Its stuck on blowing air down over a dining table.. Too expensive to not work correctly...Not happy!!

In this model, the fan blade pins are permanently attached to the motor housing. Thus, a fan blade pin failure requires replacement of the fan motor. Other model designs utilize fan blade pins that may be replaced as they screw into both the fan and the motor housing. In my opinion, this fan is an expensive item with an unacceptable design flaw.

Installed outside under the deck. Hand held remote and wall control work well. The fan makes almost zero noise. The recessed light in the middle does a great job. I just wish it were LED instead of Halogen. The cover on the light is my only concern. The lose twist attachment is not firm so I am concerned about the cover staying if struck. Other than that very small issue, I really like the fan.

I purchased this fan for my patio and it looks very pretty. It did take my boyfriend about 1/2 day to install it, tho. The "cap" doesn't butt up to the surface. We called the company and apparently it is a design flaw. He resourcefully fixed this by slicing a rubber hose/tubbing in half longways and fitted it around the cup edge, thus eliminating the gap that kept it from being flush with the surface mount. It is very quiet, powerful and attractive.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
