Masterbuilt warrants all of its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship under proper assembly, normal use and recommended care for one (1) year from the date of original retail purchase. Labor not included.

The motor on the rotisserie is weak. The first time I used it (1 chicken) it died, stopped turning. I would not recommend. Also, I'm not happy with the app on my iPhone. Several times it wouldn't connect and I was unable to get it to work. Other times it worked fine. It's not very consistent.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago, put 2 chickens on it and it won't turn. Removed one and still one turn. Been fighting to keep it balanced.

Rotation is very erratic, tried cooking a turkey under 20lbs and eventually stopped rotating all the way around. Total failure. Looking thru Google many said the bushing doesn't lock in to rotate. I took it out and tried to make it work to no avail. Was out of the one year warranty so I tried buying another one thinking mine was just bad. Nope, now I have two that don't work. Even a small whole chicken was a disaster.

The Masterbuilt Rotisserie is sub par and only worth getting if you're really REALLY eager for a Rotisserie on your Gravity Series. Otherwise I think the Rotisserie for the Gravity Series was an afterthought, and not well thought out. It only comes with 1 set /pair of prongs for the bar which is fatter than your normal rotisserie bar. So other rotisserie prongs won't fit. It's fiddly to fit the loaded bar into the drive mechanism. Also, unlike most other rotisserie kits it's not an easy way to mount the motor. Eg is not just clip it on and go. The motor must be screwed in via a large mounting block. Do you either dick about doing that each time to use & remove, or you leave it on permanently. Lastly, you can't mount a balance weight to the bar. And like I'm currently experiencing with my first cook, if the meat is out of balance the motor sounds like it's about to pop its cogs.

The rotating post and collars are poorly designed. When heated they rub causing the motor to stop rotating. This can be fixed by turning the spinning collar down to a smaller diameter.

This is not worth buying. If you have a really really small bird you might be able to get away with it working properly. I really don't understand why it doesn't work that well, but it doesn't.

This was easy to install and works well. I did modify the bracket for my 800 series so that i could get the grates in/out without removing it on the non-driven side. This wasn't to hard i suggest masterbuilt do this at the factory.

It stops rotating and goes on 20 degrees and then rotate the other direction 20 degrees

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
