The Flame Boss 400 temperature controller allows you to control your smoker and monitor grilling temperatures with ease. 2 probe ports allow you to monitor cooking surface temperature (1 pit probe is included) and internal food temperatures using a meat probe (1 meat probe is included). This temperature controller is also Wi-Fi-enabled and works with the official Flame Boss app (available for iOS & Android devices) to monitor cooks away from your smoker. Connect your Google Home & Amazon Alexa accounts to check temperatures and make adjustments with voice commands. The Flame Boss efficiently controls temperatures using the included variable speed blower, automatically learning your smoker for faster results. Included manifold and mounting adapters are compatible with: Weber Smokey Mountain grills - all sizes, Char-Griller offset & barrel smokers - all sizes, Char-Broil charcoal grills and smokers - all sizes, most drum and cabinet smokers, all smokers with pipe fitting and ball-valve intake vents. Includes: Wi-Fi controller with integrated variable speed blower, grill mounting adapter kit, (1) high temp pit probe, (1) high temp meat probe and a power supply. Installation of the Flame Boss Universal Adapter Kit requires drilling a hole into your grill/smoker to bolt securely over the vent.

Flame Boss products are warrantied against any defects in manufacturing and workmanship for two (2) years from the original date of purchase. Labor not included.

Lasted less than 6 months and now not working. Temp is 20 degrees off from day one which is very important when cooking.

Hi John. For the Lifesmart kamado you will need the Flame Boss 400 with the Kamado Kit. https://www.bbqguys.com/flame-boss/400-wifi-smoker-controller-w-kamado-adapter-kit-fb400-k It will contain all of the adapter plates to make it work.
Asked by john | Answered by johnHi Mike. When your WiFi connection is lost, the controller remembers its last set temperature and continues on at that setting. You can also switch to a direct-connect mode if this happens to be able to change or monitor temperatures.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
