Create superbly smoked foods that are moist, juicy, and succulent on the third generation The Good-One Marshall Freestanding Smoker and Grill. This competition-grade smoker and grill combo has a dedicated firebox below and behind the smoke chamber that can be affixed with a grill grate for direct, high-temp grilling. The position of the smoke chamber above and behind the firebox creates a uniform temperature across the chamber preventing hotspots. The internal damper spans the entire width of the smoker allowing control of how much smoke you want inside the chamber. The external twist-style air intakes allow for simple and easy temperature control inside the smoker. The grill grate with 471 square inches of grilling area and 4 adjustable smoke chamber grates with 2,379 square inches of cooking area are constructed of expanded steel. The smoke chamber can also house 3 additional smoke chamber grates (sold separately). There is a one-inch incline in the base of the smoke box allowing grease drippings to flow toward the drain which features a brass valve for opening to drain and clean. The firebox also houses a removable drop-in ash pan and charcoal grate. The 3-inch Tel-Tru analog thermometer is front mounted onto the right smoker door and provides a readout of the internal temperature of the smoker. The smoker is constructed of powder-coated 11-gauge US steel providing durability and a sleek finish. Also, included with this smoker are heavy-duty pneumatic wheels, and owners manual.

This Good One Marshall has been my smoker for 3+ years now. I have done 20+ racks of ribs and 14 pork shoulders at once. With the grill grate to put over the firebox, you can also reverse sear Tri-Tips. It can go 6-8 hours without adding more charcoal. Once set at 250, it stays there. It is so durable. The con is that it is 550#, so only way to transport it is a trailer.

The price prevented 5 stars. If it was closer to the $2k mark, it would be hands down a 5-star smoker! This beast of a smoker doesn't have much in the way of information online, but I took a gamble on it anyhow. I had been using a Pit Barrel Cooker for a few years, but wanted more capacity, as well as the ability to smoke low and slow for sides and veggies as well. Let me tell you, this thing holds temp like an absolute champ! I made the best brisket of my life with it on my first cook. The construction is top-notch, and the finish is clean, including the welds. Yes, this rig is welded together. If you want to be able to cook 18 pork butts at once, or a whole buffet of food for summer get-together's, you will not be disappointed with this rig! I was able to put it together by myself (it's just attaching the wheels and the thermometer), but a friend would make it easier.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
