Built with quality and versatility in mind, the 18-inch Coyote Portable Electric Grill brings electric grilling to new heights. Capable of easily changing from portable to built-in or pedestal installation thanks to a removable frame, the C1EL120SM brings versatility to electric grilling whether indoors or outdoors. Features include 156 square inches of cooking area, durable 304 stainless steel components, and a 1,300 watt heating element rated for 5,000 hours, reaching a maximum temperature of 550 degrees Fahrenheit. Cooking juicy burgers and steaks is easy with the ceramic briquette flavorizer, ensuring better heat distribution than standard flame tamers. A non-stick Teflon-coated cooking surface helps reduce sticking food while grilling and makes cleanup quick. For added safety, this grill is surge protected and has a 60-minute timer to automatically shut off the grill, ensuring it can't be left on by accident. The Coyote electric grill pedestal stand is available for purchase individually as model number C1ELCT21, or as a combo. Coyote recommends a vent hood for indoor use.

Warranty
Coyote Outdoor warrants that each product will be free from defects in workmanship and materials on the stainless steel frame/housing and stainless steel burners for the lifetime of the original purchaser. They also warrant the cooking grids for five (5) years, the flavorizer bars and electric/plastic components for two (2) years, and the ignition systems/valves for one (1) year. Labor not included.

This is my second Coyote electric grill the first one stopped working and Coyote replaced it. The second is not much better. It is very difficult to clean. Grease splatters everywhereand the emperture control is not accurate.

Was generally happy with the grill for 24 1/2 months with the exception of the griddle (hard to clean with the 'COYOTE' molded into the grids), the cover (way too tight) and the SS pedestal which had rust on it within a year.

Terrific grill. better than I expected. However, the manufacturer doesn't really care about sending along detailed assembly instructions. The piece they send and the same piece the retailer sent were of no help whatsoever. Took us hours to figure it out when we finally found 1 "YouTube" video that gave us enough of a hint to finally get it assembled. Cannot imagine when you pay almost $1k for a grill they cannot send along assembly instructions.

This is a terrific electric grill that mimics the real thing, gas and charcoal. That being said the manufacturer somehow thinks we should be able to assemble this without instructions or a manual. They give you 1 page that doesn't answer any questions on assembly except if you are installing it outside and into the ground. Took us hours to figure it out with a little help from a You Tube we found that was inadequate but helped a bit. Think twice before buying this!!!!

I love the compactness of this grill. Its perfect for 2-4 people. Great searing heat. My only complaints were, it was missing some of the screws for the anchoring of the base as well as the package was somewhat beat up, thus the grill was bent and dented in several places.

I recently purchased an 18" Coyote Electric Grill to use in my motorhome. We were able to use it multiple times last week and I was absolutely blown away! It outperformed my best expectation! We cooked a variety of meats and each was perfect. I was concerned about the size and if it would be large enough to cook for 6 people. IT WAS! I can't say enough about how pleased I am with it.

This looks like a great grill and as I was doing research noticed that it's very similar to another brand called Kenyon, this one was cheaper so I bought it. It smokes like crazy (can't use it inside) and makes a mess to clean up and doesn't get as hot as it should. The grate is dishwasher safe which is nice and it does look cool being stainless steel but I think I would go back and spend the extra money next time.

The grill comes with foldable side trays and a cover. With the trays attached, the cover will not cover the grill and collapsed trays. The cover apparently is intended to only cover the grill itself. The company recommends that the grill be covered when not in use. That is impossible. One would think this problem would have been noticed and remedied long ago. Had to order, at my expense, a cover, from BBQGuys in fact, that will hopefully fit.

After an extremely long wait and several times the grill was supposed to be delivered an wasn't, we finally got the grill. I have never used an electric grill, only gas, but this grill worked pretty well. It is sturdy and hopefully will last a long time.
Questions & Answers
I wouldn't mix water and electricity. It is a steel grille which could conduct electricity. Just doesn't sound like a good idea. Fred

Asked by Greg | Answered by GregMine is under an overhead balcony so the rain doesn't affect it. The only thing i will say is that it takes about 45 minutes to high heat. It's great. Can do a black and blue ribeye just like propane but no gas smell.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
