Warranty
The body of the grill is warrantied against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ten (10) years. The main burner is warrantied for three (3) years. The cast iron cooking grates and all remaining parts and paint are warrantied for a period of two (2) years. Labor not included.

Have used the original porta chef for years then went to Weber Q found it to be not as hot and not as controlable ! so bought a 320 porta chef after using side by side Porta chef is way better to use than the weber,

We were looking for a BBQ that can connect to the propane outlet on our 5th wheel trailer and is small enough to fit in the outside storage space. This one allowed us to do just that! When folded down, it fits in our rear storage compartment - it's the larges one and the BBQ barely fits. The controls are not part of the regulator so it was easy to use the regulated propane connection on the trailer. We used it through the summer of 2021 and it worked great for the two of us. If I was to suggest an update, it would be to find a better way to keep the legs latched in travel position. They keep falling out and that makes it hard to remove it from storage.

I bought this mainly for it's portability and was surprised with the premium materials used. 3 burners and cast-iron grates provide nice heat and grilling marks. Will store indoors for the winter and also bought the matching cover.

We bought the Portable-Chef to take in our 5th wheel. I fits in our 5th wheel storage area just fine and it has the features of a full sized grill. It is well made and should last through many many miles of travels

I bought this grill about a year ago, it has not heated well from the beginning. The grill never gets hot enough to sear meat, if you set it on low it goes out. I bout it because of the 3 burners, and anticipated, It would sear on high with no problem, and I could cook with one or two burners when needed. I had a Magma for years that worked great, should have stayed with that.

I bought this bbq one month ago...and I'm really satisfied. Simple to use, powerful and very comfortable the 3 handpieces to adjust the right temperature. Indirect cookings are fantastic! Suggested especially if you need a bbq simple to transport everywhere and if you don't have a lot of space!

Hi Dennis. These can be converted, but you may have to get the part from Broil King directly. Additionally, converting it will void the warranty.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
