The Kamado Joe Divide and Conquer is a revolutionary, multilevel half-rack design that allows you to mix and match cooking surfaces in endless combinations to suit any need or style of cooking. This set of two ceramic heat deflectors allows you to create heat zones in the kamado, which partially blocks off heat to provide both indirect and open flame. For use with Classic 18 grills. This is my second set of half moon deflector plates and they have broken as well. I use my grill regularly and am very unhappy that I have to spend so much money replacing the deflector plates

These are now garbage, unfortunately. My first set from 2017 lasted nearly 6 years. Now I've been through 5 sets in 6 months. All of them fail due to large cracks that develop with smoke penetration plainly visible. Some when pulled hot, some when pulled cold. Fortunately none of the blazing hot shards of ceramic have pierced my feet… I'm done returning and exchanging these.

On my third set in 5 years and I didn't use my Joe while going through leukemia treatment for 2 years. These deflectors are a disappointment and unfortunately necessary.

Broke during normal use. Temp was about 400 degrees. When I went to go grab it, only half came with me.

Bought the Kamado Joe Classic II a year ago from Abt. The heat reflectors broke within 6 months. Abt replaced them and yesterday one of the reflectors broke again by just simple handling.

I got these about 2 months ago now and have fixed some great indirect heat meats and reduced the amount of charcoal and wood to maintain the exact same cooking temperature and times

Deflector plates do not last. End up having to buy a new set almost every year and KJ will no longer warranty them.

Work well but cracked after it was out of warranty just from the fire. Disappointed that a key component of the grill seems to be treated as a part that needs replacement and not covered by the same ceramic warranty as other key components. Was great while it lasted. Now I need to spend a hundred bucks to make my grill functional again

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
