Fast Eddys by Cookshack smokers are 100 percent wood burning, pellet-fired smokers and feature stainless steel construction and 850 degree Spin-Glass insulation, keeping the internal temperatures consistent and the outside cool to the touch. The Cookshack exclusive IQ5 technology allows you to cook your meat at a temperature and time that you set. The proprietary IQ5 electronic time and temperature controller is easy to use and gives you consistent results with every use. This Fast Eddys by Cookshack smoker has a temperature range of 130 to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. It features 3-stage or 2-stage cooking modes, meat probe mode, USB data port, and 8 programmable presets. When the smoke cycle has finished, the controller drops automatically to the hold temperature. Thermostatically controlled temperature eliminates large heat fluctuations that dry and shrink meat. Patented automatic wood pellet stoker-fed system is operated by the IQ5 controller. It knows when the smoker needs more fuel; you can go away and leave it to do its job without your attention. The hopper has a 20 pound capacity and the smoker can cook for over 24 hours on one load of pellets. Easy, flip-of-the switch start brings the smoker rapidly up to smoking temperature. Burners stay on when doors are opened and heat recovery occurs in as little as 10 minutes while other brand smokers take up to an hour to bring the temperature back up. Includes four 23 X 17-inch nickel plated steel racks that are removable and can be power washed for quick clean up. This smoker comes ready to use with casters, operators manual, 40 lbs of wood pellets, cookbook, and a 5-pack spice sampler. All Cookshack smokers and pellet grills are proudly made in the USA.

This limited warranty includes parts and labor for the first 90 days. This item is intended for residential use only. Following the 90-day period, Cookshack will repair or replace at its option any part deemed defective upon examination by Cookshack for a period of two (2) years from the original date of sale.

There were some learning curves to the first cook, including the system shutting off due to a high temperature auto shut-off. The auto shutoff was unexpected and required direct observation or it could have ruined the cook. The auto shut off seems to be a recurrent issue for the unit, based on the forum comments. This was an unexpected challenge with the unit. I also struggled to get higher temperatures to finish off my ribs, but that might have been due to some breeze blowing by the unit. Similarly, I experienced some pretty significant temperature variations, again, likely due to wind. When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we’ve all come to expect for small parcels, so it’s important that you’re prepared and understand what’s required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can’t be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we’ve only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don’t require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren’t required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you’re home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you’re out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
