I like the concept of this product, actually have used quite a bit. That said, mine is coming up on a year old and it is rusting some fierce. The small triangle portion that is for the smoking wood chips doesnt ignite the chips well, in turn wasting most of my chips I purchased through here. All in all its a great idea, and I would also like to see it where you can reinstall the grate over the top.

Purchased this when I purchased my grill absolutely one of the best purchases I've made I do not have a smoker, but this ad such a great taste and flavor of smoke that you would think I cook my meats on a smoker I did not know that I could add photos, so I apologize I do not have any but next time I use it, I will post them

Bought the Prestige RSIB 500 along with several optionS, including this puppy. WOW!!! What a great idea...combining charcoal with gas cooking capabilities! Tried this option tonight and I could not be happier nor more pleased. Easy to set up, no-muss no-fuss charcoal lighting (almost my favorite feature) and works even better than I was expecting. Best burgers I have had in a long, long time! Six stars if they offered it.

I love that I can turn my gas grill into a charcoal grill. The flavor of charcoal is my favorite but I do not always have time to let the charcoal heat up. This gives me the flexibility to have a grill that is the best of both worlds

I bought this as a companion to my brand-new Freestyle 425. First and foremost, it looks too big for the 425, covering three of the four burners. I would prefer to have a narrow version of it, that covers only two burners. Also, the tray sits directly on the burners, which looks less efficient and may affect the burners in the long run. If the edges of the tray were a bit larger, they would sit on the sear plate's mount and be positioned an inch above the burners. But the real problem is that the tray simply cracked in the first use, a few minutes after I turned on the burners to make the charcoal ignite. Will try to return it, but I am very disappointed with the product quality. I bought a Napoleon EXACTLY because I would be able to have a hybrid grill with the addition of the charcoal tray.

Let's face it, gas grills are convenient and Napoleon grills are even better right? But now you can add charcoal flavor to your food as well as wood smoke? It's a no brainer! You need this basket. Napoleon does it again with this piece and it's cast iron? Wow!

Hi Asim. After using the Napoleon charcoal tray, we would suggest brushing the ash off the burners once everything is cool. However, during use, the ash will not damage the burners.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight.
